| As you will understand,
in the current climate it is vital that Keep
Education,
and the authorities with whom it works, ensures
that all adults coming into contact with children
are carefully vetted. There will therefore be
a delay whilst a series of checks are made before
you commence work. And, once employed by Keep
Education, our policy is to sustain and administer
regular checks on an ongoing basis, in the interest
of the children under our teachers' care. |

Checks before:
|
- Identification is by passport, birth certificate
or photo ID such as a driving licence.
- Two professional references are required,
including one from the most recent employer.
- Face-to-face interviews are conducted by
experienced consultants.
- DFEE and/or GTC status is confirmed.
- A police check is made.

during: |
- List 99. Every teacher and teaching assistant,
every 3 months, with the misconduct team from
the DFEE.
- Continual feedback from schools and teachers
alike.

- Records are kept of how schools
rate our teachers' and teaching assistants’
performances.
