Nursery Nurse Level 3 Harpenden

Provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5 years.

Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development through play-based learning.

Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to inform planning and share with parents and carers.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a caring, inclusive, and professional setting.

Support daily routines, including meal times, toileting, and outdoor play.

Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.

Experience supporting children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.

Ability to form strong relationships with children, parents, and team members.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong knowledge of early childhood development.

Creative, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.

Reliable, organised, and proactive in supporting the nursery team.

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.

Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.

Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training desirable (or willingness to complete).
