Keep Education is currently recruiting experienced and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across St Albans on a supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a flexible, rewarding role.

Whether you are looking for full-time work or just a few days a week, we can offer supply roles that match your availability and experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs

• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

• Implement strategies and support plans tailored to individual pupils

• Encourage and promote positive behaviour and learning

• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals

Educational requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, etc.)

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Flexibility to work across different age groups and school settings

• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
