Keep Education is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in schools across Houghton Regis. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to students with SEND

• Assist teachers in delivering individualised learning plans and activities

• Support students' emotional, social, and behavioural development

• Ensure students are engaged with tasks and manage any additional support needs

• Help with classroom management and create a positive learning environment

• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ needs

• Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and report back to staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a SEND or educational setting

• Knowledge of different SEND conditions and strategies to support students

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards supporting students

• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
